Our Pre-School Program

At Little Antlers Learning Center we feel our goal of early education should be to cultivate the inner desire to learn, through a program adapted to the interests and needs of children. We provide this experience by preparing the environment for children’s success through classroom centers.

Learning centers are areas within the classroom where students learn about specific objects by playing and engaging in activities.  Play is an active form of learning that involves the whole self.  Learning through centers allows the children to take risks without the fear of failure.  We focus on the process and not the product.  Learning centers allow the children to investigate, explore and discover things that are new to them and make connections with the things they already know.

Our living space is an environment where children develop intellectually, socially, and emotionally.  Surrounded by developmentally appropriate materials and child-sized furniture, Mid-State Children’s Learning Center provides your child with an atmosphere of comfort, cooperation, and community.
